Manchester United 2025/2026

Manchester United was founded in 1878 and in 1902 the name was changed to Manchester United and that is the name of the club to this day.

Manchester United is the most successful club in the history of English football. The club won the European Cup I in 1968 and the Champions League twice, in 1999 and in 2008. The European Cup II was conquered in 1991 and in 2017 the club dominated Ajax in the Europa League Final. United also won the World Championship for club teams in 2008 and was allowed to hold up the World Cup in 1999. The club has won the national championship twenty times, but the last title dates back to the 2012/2013 season.

The club's home base is the magnificent Old Trafford which can seat 74,994 spectators. Every football fan must have been here once!

The Red Devils had a terrible season. They finished sixteenth(!) in the Premier League. Only four clubs performed worse. The season could have been salvaged by winning the Europa League final. However, United also suffered defeat there, losing 1-0 to rivals Tottenham Hotspur. This means Manchester United will not be playing in European football next season. Results will have to improve significantly under manager Ruben Amorim in the 2025/26 season.

With star players such as Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha and Marcus Rashford, there is also plenty of reason to visit Manchester United next season.
