Tottenham Hotspur was founded in 1882 under the name Hotspur FC. Two years later, the name was changed to the name that it still bears.
Those who think of The Spurs often automatically think of White Hart Lane. But since April 2019, Tottenham Hotspur has been playing its home games in a new stadium. This new White Haret Lane can accommodate 62 062 spectators.
Last season was disastrous for the North London club. They finished seventeenth in the league—just one spot above the relegation zone, just like the previous season. Tottenham performed fantastically in the Champions League group stage, but had to bow out to Atlético Madrid in the first knockout round.
Roberto De Zerbi is currently the team's manager. Tottenham Hotspur has already spent a great deal of money to strengthen the squad. Some of the team's top players include Richarlison, Sandro Tonali, and Cristian Romero.
